Totally Obscure — Jakob Dylan & The Wallflowers

Yes, Jakob is the son of Bob Dylan! In spite of this progeny connection, as a musician, Jakob (and his band The Wallflowers) remain somewhat unknown. Jakob is one of MY personal favorites and has been on my playlists ever since he emerged in the late 90's.

Great songs and melodies on his band and solo releases make for an extremely pleasant listening experience. He has won 2 Grammy’s thus far and most recently was involved in the filming and soundtrack for “Echo in the Canyon” about the music scene that formed in the Sixties in Laurel Canyon (Be sure to check that if you haven’t already!)
